Why it works
Why give a child their own birthday film
Children love seeing themselves. Seeing themselves as the hero, with a song about them, is something they ask to watch again.
Play it at the party
Put it on the TV before the cake comes out and watch their face when they see themselves.
MoreStart the birthday morning
Show it at breakfast. A song that sings their name is a lovely way to wake up.
Send it from far away
Grandparents, godparents and aunts can make it and send it to the family's phone.
Match the world to this year
Dinosaurs at four, wizards at eight. Pick the world they're into right now.

FAQ
Birthday adventure movie for kids: questions
A personalized, animated birthday video of about a minute that stars your child. They follow a golden key through the world they love, open a door and find a surprise party, while a song written for them plays.
Yes. Every film gets its own original song, composed for that child and never reused. It sings their name, and if you tell us what they love, a line or two can be about that too.
Astronaut, pirate, dinosaur, underwater, princess, unicorn, superhero or wizard. You pick one, and the costume, the places, the music and the party all follow it.
We draw them in warm 3D animation from your photos, keeping their face, skin tone, hair and glasses if they wear them, so the family recognises them at once.
2 to 4 clear, recent photos of the same child where their face is easy to see. A photo from the front and one from a slight angle work well.
Yes, if you like. Mention a pet, a favorite color, a toy or a moment you'd love to see, and we weave a few of them into the story and the song. Leave it blank and the adventure still feels complete.
The film stars one child. The party guests belong to their world, like friendly dinosaurs or sea creatures. For siblings, make a film for each child.
Yes. One edit is included. Watch the film, then tell us what you'd like changed from your video page, keeping the same child and the same birthday.
